OUR FOUNDING STORY
Meet Richard & Andy
Back in 2011, we felt the Thoreau quote above in our bones. We were two twenty-five-year-olds, cranking out Excel spreadsheets, who knew there was more to life than sitting behind a desk all day. That the best life was an adventurous life. And that there were a whole bunch more guys out there like us.
So in 2011, we made one of those blood brothers-type pacts on a ski lift in Lake Tahoe to quit our cushy jobs, invest our life savings, and start Herdersan out of our apartments.
